ABOUT US

Dubris is the Roman name for Dover and GoDubris is the new name for a re-energised DBL Trading. We are a privately owned Community Interest Company set up in December 2018, initially to manage a project in Dover supporting business start-ups. It grew out of the work undertaken by Dover Big Local, a National Community Fund (Lottery) funded initiative aimed at making Dover a better place in which to live, work, play and visit.

Certain operational restrictions exist on an unincorporated, albeit constituted organisation such as Dover Big Local, resulting in difficulties managing day to day tasks that require formal contractual arrangements, hence the birth of DBL Trading, and now GoDubris.
